We have a garage (and basement walls too)!

Since the last time that I posted, we now have a garage and the new basement walls have been poured.

Not much happened due to the cold

Not much happened over the last week due to the snow and extreme cold.  The trusses for the garage were delivered and they did get the basement dug out and ready for the footers to be poured.  The center area you see in there is going to be replaced with a big steel beam and three poles.

The floor for the new entry way, garage, and driveway have been poured.  Also, they are digging out the crawl space for the new basement.

Our new house - old and what is coming soon

We took a big plunge and bought a house in Golden, CO.  Sarah and I have been looking for a place in town for a long time, and after a couple of contracts falling through we finally found a place and purchased it.  It is about a third the size of our old house, and not a very good looking house.  But with the money that we had in equity in our old house we plan to make this our final home.
